La historia se desarrolla en un contexto muy particular en L\u00edbano: la \u00e9poca en la cual, tras la anexi\u00f3n de territorio liban\u00e9s a Israel como resultado de la Guerra de los Seis D\u00edas, muchas comunidades quedaron divididas entre los dos pa\u00edses, entre ellas algunos pueblos drusos. Debido a la hostilidad entre los dos pa\u00edses, una gran cantidad de familias fueron separadas por la frontera, evitando su reencuentro y provocando una fractura entre ellas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En medio de esta tensi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica se arregla el matrimonio entre Lamia, quien habita en Deir Mimas, comunidad drusa localizada en la regi\u00f3n de los Altos del Gol\u00e1n en L\u00edbano, y su primo, que vive cruzando la frontera en Israel. Lamia no s\u00f3lo lucha en contra de los deseos de su familia respecto a su casamiento con Samy (a quien abandona poco despu\u00e9s de haber contra\u00eddo matrimonio para volver a Deir Mimas), sino tambi\u00e9n contradice a su comunidad al enamorarse de un joven militar que sirve al pa\u00eds enemigo, con quien establece lazos afectivos sin jam\u00e1s dirigirle la palabra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Narrada po\u00e9ticamente, la pel\u00edcula logra exponer situaciones cotidianas que experimentan los habitantes de pueblos asentados en zonas de conflicto, como la frontera entre L\u00edbano e Israel; adem\u00e1s, humaniza a los actores involucrados presentando casos en donde \u00e9stos recobran la capacidad de trazar sus vidas m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del rol que les
